Who owns your website, domain, and content with a managed website service?
Your website address, words, photos, and design do not all have the same ownership rules. Here is what belongs to you and what happens if you leave.

With Bundled Brand, you keep ownership of your own website address and the words, photos, and other content you supply. You also own the writing and other content we create specifically for your business. We own the reusable designs and software behind the website.
You have permission to keep using the design on your own website after you leave. But that does not include our hosting, support, or the services that run your contact forms. Here is how the different parts work.
Your website address belongs to you
Your domain is your website address, such as yourbusiness.com. If you already own it, it stays yours. Keep access to the account where you bought it and keep its renewal details current.
An address under bundled.site is different. It uses a domain Bundled Brand owns, not one you own.
Buying or transferring a domain is not included unless your written agreement says otherwise. Connecting your own address to our service does not transfer its ownership to us.
Your words and photos belong to you
You keep ownership of the content you provide. Our agreement gives us permission to use it for your website and the agreed service. You must have the right to use any photos, logos, or other materials you send us.
You also own writing and other content we create specifically for your website. Photos or other materials from outside suppliers can have their own rules about use. Those rules still apply.
You can keep using the design, but you do not own our software
We own our reusable designs and can use them for other customers. As a paid customer, you have permission to use and change the design for your own website, even after your subscription ends. You can hire a website developer to make those changes for you.
You cannot sell the design as a separate product or use it to provide design-based website services to other businesses. This permission does not give you ownership of our software or continued access to hosting, maintenance, support, or contact-form services.
What happens if you cancel?
To stop renewal, email support@bundledbrand.com before your next billing date. No advance notice period applies. Service continues through your paid period unless you request earlier removal.
There is no fee to leave the platform. Charges under your plan still apply. There is also no promise of free work to set up your website with another provider. After launch, unused annual months are nonrefundable by default, with individual consideration of refund requests.
Can you take the website somewhere else?
We plan to offer a downloadable copy of the website for use elsewhere. That feature is not yet confirmed to work, so do not choose the service on the assumption that it is available today.
Receiving your photos, files, and account information is not the same as receiving a website ready to run with another provider. Even a downloadable website copy would not include the services that run our contact forms, filter junk messages, or manage website changes. A new provider would need to arrange replacements.
Ask these questions before signing
- Do I have access to the account for my website address?
- Can I use my words and photos with another provider?
- What can I do with the design after I leave?
- What charges apply when I cancel?
- What files can I receive, and by when?
- Who sets up the website and contact forms with the next provider?
Read the current service terms for deadlines and conditions when the service ends. Ask for the details in writing before relying on the ability to move your website.
